This time last week it was a case of sitting back and assessing just how Luton Town had done in the freshly closed transfer window.

An article I published – it-is-a-wrap – listed all those players that had left the club and all those that had arrived, either permanently or on loan deals.

To me, it seems almost an age ago and I will readily admit that I miss the hustle and bustle the transfer windows bring.

The aforementioned also article contained a poll asking you, our readership, how you perceived the transfer window went for the Hatters, with it being titled:

With three options listed for you to choose from:

Reflecting on the results, we find that 46% of those that voted went for the AVERAGE option. A further 36% went for the POOR option whilst only 18% went for the good OPTION.

To me, a surprising result and I cannot help wondering how many of those that voted, having seen some of the new recruits in action. last Saturday, would now select a different option.

However that is a question for you all to mull over.
