Leicester City players have not been good enough to warrant frustration over the club’s points deduction, caretaker boss Andy King believes.

Deemed in breach of Profit and Sustainability Rules, City have had six points taken from their tally and they now sit outside of the relegation zone on goal difference.

But while the punishment is for City’s poor financial management and not for the players’ performance, King does not think they have the right to be too disappointed.

They cannot wallow in their misfortune because it is ultimately their own form that has left them close to the relegation zone.
