A furious Andy King will discuss discipline with the Leicester City squad after they “shot themselves in the foot” again in their loss to Birmingham.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid received a straight red card just 30 minutes into City’s 2-1 defeat at St Andrew’s, following on from Caleb Okoli’s early dismissal in the 2-0 reverse to Charlton last weekend.

It means City have received four red cards this season, the joint-most in the Championship, with all four coming before the break. Aaron Ramsey at Oxford and Bade Aluko at Southampton were the other two.

The score was 1-1 at the time of the red card, with Ricardo Pereira’s huge error gifting Birmingham the lead before Abdul Fatawu responded.
