Nico Raskin has been a regular for many years at Rangers.

The 24-year-old struggled earlier in the campaign, but when Rangers moved to sack Russell Martin, the Belgian was brought back into the side.

Danny Rohl has done much better at Rangers, and it is no surprise that the 24-year-old has played a key role in the recent spell of good form.

That has seen Raskin linked with moves away from Rangers, although the midfielder has remained at Ibrox with the transfer window closed.

The latest developments away from Govan look destined to work in Raskin’s favour, with his future potentially now in his hands.

Rangers were strongly linked to Jens Hjerto-Dahl, with reports emerging after the January deadline had already passed at Ibrox.

The 20-year-old midfielder came out of nowhere, but news broke that suggested that a deal would be done for him to join the Light Blues.

The Govan faithful waited patiently to see more of the Norway under-21 international, who had bizarrely been promised as an imminent arrival.

A deal never happened, and the Gers moved on, but now a contract agreement has been reached, which makes these reports all the more strange.
