Rangers completed the signing of Ryan Naderi from FC Hansa Rostock at the end of the winter market. Danny Röhl’s side pushed hard to bring him to Ibrox on deadline day.

Rangers initially offered €3m for the striker and the third division German club turned it down. On Friday, they rejected an improved offer of €3.6m from Röhl’s side. A day later, the striker played the full 90 minutes in Hansa Rostock’s 3-0 defeat to FC Ingolstadt.

The Ibrox club were initially open to signing him and letting him finish the season in Germany. Hansa Rostock didn’t entertain this, but Rangers didn’t give up. Their efforts finally paid off as he completed a permanent move to Glasgow on Monday.
