Good news Blackburn Rovers fans, Arnor Sigurdsson says you’re not the worst club of his career so far.

Fotboll Skanalen have an interview with the Malmo midfielder today. And rather than going on a very easy rant about Blackburn Rovers, it seems he held back.

He joined Rovers in 2023, initially on loan from CSKA Moscow. That lasted until the January transfer window, when Blackburn decided to make his move permanent that month.

Sigurdsson spent the next year at the club, making 41 appearances for the club in total with eight goals and five assists before he joined Malmo on a free in February last year.

Given the numbers involved, some would argue that his time at Blackburn Rovers wasn’t up to much. It would certainly be easy to see Sigurdsson agree with that fact. There’s very little evidence to suggest otherwise.

Fotboll Skanalen were certainly prompting him to go in hard. But, instead, Sigurdson decided to take a different approach to the questioning.
