PSV Eindhoven manager Peter Bosz has revealed where Ricardo Pepi’s head is at after his failed move to Fulham.

De Telegraaf cover comments from the PSV manager today. He was asked about Pepi following the drama throughout the January transfer window.

Pepi was the subject of ongoing and intense interest from Fulham throughout the winter window. They’ve been keen on the American striker since the summer and tried to get a deal done in this window too.

That led to long, drawn-out negotiations with PSV that often went backwards and forwards. The Dutch side showed little interest in a sale at first but soon started to sway as Fulham’s bids increased.

Marco Silva’s side eventually offered €35m late in the window, a fee they thought would tempt PSV into a sale. Reports around the potential deal indicated that Pepi was keen on the move to Craven Cottage and the Premier League.

Instead, PSV rejected it outright, believing that the January window was not an ideal time to sign. They had also left themselves with little time to find a replacement.
