Aston Villa are contending with a number of injuries as they approach the final third of the season.

Boubacar Kamara has been sidelined for the remainder of the campaign, while John McGinn and Youri Tielemans are also set to miss several weeks.

Ollie Watkins was absent from Villa’s 1–0 defeat at Brentford last time out, while Amadou Onana remained on the bench due to muscle fatigue.

Ahead of Villa’s next Premier League fixture against Bournemouth on Saturday, here is the latest update on the injury front:

Watkins felt a minor hamstring strain in the first half of Villa’s 3–2 win over RB Salzburg last week. After missing Sunday’s clash with Brentford, he could return this weekend.

The winger has begun training at Bodymoor Heath after joining from Grêmio last month but has yet to make an appearance due to injury. The Brazilian top-flight season only concluded in December.
