Swansea City youngster Bobby Wales has joined Huddersfield Town on loan for the rest of the season.

The 20-year-old arrived in the summer from Scottish side Kilmarnock, having emerged as one of the club's brightest young prospects.

He has similarly been considered a future prospect at Swansea rather than a first-team regular, and will now spend the rest of the season in League One.

That said, Wales has managed to notch up a few first-team appearances, making four league outings off the bench.

He's also appeared in both cup competitions, and even grabbed his first goal in the Carabao Cup first-round tie with Crawley Town.

Vitor Matos says he's an admirer of the youngster, but even on the occasions where he hasn't deployed top scorer Zan Vipotnik, it seems both Liam Cullen and even Melker Widell are higher in the pecking order.
