Jamal Jimoh-Aloba insists West Brom was his number one destination for a loan move away from Aston Villa.

The 19-year-old will spend the remainder of the season with the Baggies, returning to the club he left to join Villa in 2023.

Jimoh-Aloba has made six senior appearances for Villa since making his debut in last season’s 2–1 EFL Cup victory over Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park.

He scored his first senior goal for the club in last week’s dramatic 3-2 win over RB Salzburg, completing the comeback for Unai Emery’s side in their final Europa League league-phase match.

The youngster spoke to WBA TV about his return to The Hawthorns, almost three years after departing for Villa.

“This was the number one place I wanted to come because of the emotions and feelings I have towards the club. Those emotions are still in me deeply,” he said.
