Aston Villa’s Jamal Jimoh-Aloba has joined West Brom on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 19-year-old scored his first senior goal for Villa in last week’s 3–2 win over RB Salzburg, completing the comeback for Unai Emery’s side in their final Europa League league-phase match.

Jimoh-Aloba has made six senior appearances for Villa since making his debut against Wycombe Wanderers in last season’s 2–1 EFL Cup victory at Adams Park.

The teenager originally joined Villa from West Brom in 2023 at the age of 16, having represented England at Under-16 and Under-17 level.

After signing a new contract in October 2024, Jimoh-Aloba went on to win the FA Youth Cup with Villa, scoring in the final against Manchester City.

He made his Premier League debut against Arsenal in December, coming off the bench in the second half at the Emirates Stadium.

West Brom currently sit 21st in the Championship, just one place above the relegation zone.
