Arne Slot has insisted that he needs 'all of the players' in his Liverpool squad when questioned about Andy Robertson's future at the club. The left-back has been strongly linked with a departure from Anfield as his contract draws to a close. The Reds are in talks with Tottenham over a possible transfer for Robertson, whose deal on Merseyside runs out at the end of the season.

It's been widely reported that no final decision has been reached on Robertson's future. Nevertheless, Liverpool are thought to be in discussions with Spurs, who are keen to secure the defender before next month's transfer deadline.

Robertson came off the bench during Liverpool's loss to Bournemouth on Saturday evening, replacing summer signing Milos Kerkez at the interval.

Following the defeat at the Vitality Stadium, Slot was questioned about Robertson's future, with the Liverpool manager outlining why the Scotland international remains crucial to his plans.

"I think I need all of my players," Slot told Sky Sports.
