David Moyes has recognised Leeds United’s ability to keep Dominic Calvert-Lewin on the pitch throughout his time at Elland Road, having allowed him to leave Everton this summer.

The striker, who had suffered persistent injury setbacks at the Toffees, was let go after his contract expired in the summer and he eventually ended up at Leeds after batting off interest from Champions League clubs.

Calvert-Lewin has been available for every Premier League game following his debut at home against Newcastle United, continuing to make the matchday squad despite a few minor issues. As a result, he has been able to score nine times so far.

His six goals in five games across December earned him the Premier League player of the month award. Asked about Calvert-Lewin and his success at Leeds following his exit, Moyes said: "We look forward to seeing Dom.
