Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina has turned to social media to poke fun at the controversial decision not to award Arsenal a penalty during their goalless Premier League draw at the City Ground. In the dying moments of the match, Aina was at the centre of a handball incident inside Forest's penalty box.

The full-back seemed to guide the ball with his arm close to the touchline, preventing it from going out for a corner. Despite vocal protests from Arsenal's players, referee Michael Oliver waved away their appeals.

VAR official Darren England subsequently examined the incident before determining that the ball had "played off Aina's shoulder first" and that his arm was in a "natural position". "We came here to win the game and we haven't managed to do that for different reasons," Mikel Arteta commented afterwards.
