Rotherham United twice came from behind to equalise before a third Stockport goal proved to much for them at Edgeley Road this afternoon.

The first chance of the afternoon came on 8 minutes for the hosts when a Josh Stokes cross found the head of Tayo Edun the former England U20 defender only able to find the arms of Millers’ ‘keeper Cameron Dawson. Edun turned provider a minute later when his cross found Ben Osborn who put the ball wide before a Kyle Wootton header also had the same fate. The Millers were under the cosh and on 13 minutes Stokes and Odin Bailey worked well together before Josh Dacres-Cogley, on his debut, sent the ball forward with Millers centre-back Sean Raggett putting out a toe to beat his own ‘keeper and sending the ball into the back of the net for the opening goal to the hosts.
