Newcastle United learn Tino Livramento lay off as club consider full-back swoop

Newcastle United have discovered the lay-off time for Tino Livramento after he received the results of a scan.
The ex-Chelsea and Southampton man limped off against AFC Bournemouth in the FA Cup to add to Newcastle's injury woes. The Magpies already have Fabian Schar (ankle) and Dan Burn (lung) out with long-term injuries.
Losing versatile full-back Livramento means Newcastle have had to seriously consider their options in the remainder of the window, with United looking for back-up. But they will be without Livramento until late March after the Toon star's scan result came through.
In truth, Newcastle knew on Saturday that Livramento would be out for a period of time. Howe had said: "It looks like a hamstring problem, which is always a worry when it's a muscular problem. I'm absolutely devastated for him because he's worked so hard to come back and looked in really good physical shape.
"I'm not too sure on any other details other than that, but it's going to be a blow. He's obviously going to be out...
