Everton goalkeeper Harry Tyrer is closing on a move to Cardiff City. The 24-year-old is expected to undergo a medical with the Bluebirds on Tuesday with talks advancing over a potential permanent deal.

Those discussions have their roots in the summer, when the clubs failed to reach an agreement with Tyrer still in and around David Moyes’ first-team squad at the start of the season.

Cardiff have maintained their interest and talks have since resumed, with the keeper now close to an exit, as reported by Wales Online.
