Gabriel Martinelli is not expected to receive any further retrospective FA punishment for pushing Conor Bradley during the 0-0 draw between Arsenal and Liverpool. The Brazilian was shown to push the full back off the pitch after Bradley injured himself clearing the ball without being challenged.

The Brazilian initially dropped the ball on the defender before, after witnessing Bradley make a movement to move further on to the field, pushing the player. Liverpool’s players took issue with the action, pushing the Arsenal winger away before he was eventually booked by Anthony Taylor.

Due to being spotted by Taylor and booked for the action, there is no expected retrospective action from the FA to be taken. The incident will have been noted in the referee’s report as a result of the booking.

Martinelli took to social media to post an apology for the action after the game. The 24-year-old admitted that he had made contact with the Liverpool defender.
