And the head coach, whose side travel to Arsenal on Thursday looking to reduce a 14-point deficit to the Premier League leaders, insists the changes to the Reds' output in the final third is down to a lack of personnel up top.

Liverpool are on an eight-game unbeaten run in the Premier League but will arrive at the Emirates having drawn half of those, against Leeds United home and away, Sunderland at Anfield and Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
