Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has claimed that Arsenal star Declan Rice could ‘dominate’ Liverpool on Thursday night.

Since moving to the Emirates Stadium from West Ham United for a club record fee, the 26-year-old has showcased his qualities at the highest level in recent years.

He has been guiding the Gunners to mount a Premier League title charge this season. They are currently at the top of the table with 48 points from 20 matches.

After missing out on the Aston Villa game due to a knee injury last week, the 26-year-old returned to action against AFC Bournemouth last weekend. He helped his side win the game 3-2 by scoring a brace.

In 27 appearances across all competitions, the England international has netted four goals and registered five assists thus far this campaign.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will face off against Liverpool in a crucial Premier League fixture tomorrow, and they endured a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Anfield in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

Now, during a recent interview (via Metro), Redknapp says that midfield battle is very important in big matches like these, and considering Rice’s recent ‘great form’, he could ‘dominate’ Liverpool.
