Arsenal's Premier League title hopes were dented as they were forced to settle for a point in a draw with Sunderland.

The Gunners were held to a 2-2 stalemate with the Black Cats at the Stadium of Light, with Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard on the score sheet.

However, goals from Daniel Ballard and Brian Brobbey saw the points shared on Wearside, meaning Arsenal's lead at the top of the Premier League table is now only six points and could decrease further depending on the result between Manchester City and Liverpool on Super Sunday.

Arsenal will now have to wait two weeks before returning to Premier League action to face Tottenham Hotspur in the North London Derby after the international break.
