Arsenal were denied a comeback victory against Sunderland on Saturday evening as Brian Brobbey equalised late on at the Stadium of Light. Former academy star Dan Ballard opened the scoring with goals from Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard following before Brobbey's last-gasp leveller.

After a run of eight clean sheets in all competitions for Arsenal, the opening goal went to Sunderland with Ballard firing past David Raya after getting onto Nordi Mukiele's header down and wrestling free from Declan Rice.

Bukayo Saka equalised nine minutes into the second half when Rice won possession high up with Eberechi Eze finding Mikel Merino who then picked out Bukayo Saka to fire in at the near post. Leandro Trossard then thumped in a wonderful strike from distance with just over 15 minutes to play.

However, second-half substitute Brobbey flicked home late on after Ballard's header from a ball into the box. With Manchester City and Liverpool facing off, it is perhaps not the worst week to...
