Chelsea has launched an enquiry about former Real Madrid star Nico Paz. The 21-year-old rose through the ranks at Real Madrid before being transferred to Serie A outfit Como in 2024. Paz has been in excellent form in Italy, attracting the attention of major European clubs. This season, Paz has scored 4 goals and provided 4 assists in just eleven appearances.
Paz has been linked to several European giants, including Tottenham, Liverpool, and Chelsea, but Real Madrid is reportedly keen on re-signing the Argentine.
Spurs had initially tried to sign Paz, but Madrid were adamant on including a buy-back clause in the deal, which threw off the Lilywhites. Chelsea is also in the market for an attacking midfielder, as they continue to monitor Paz among other targets.
