Chelsea has launched an enquiry about former Real Madrid star Nico Paz. The 21-year-old rose through the ranks at Real Madrid before being transferred to Serie A outfit Como in 2024. Paz has been in excellent form in Italy, attracting the attention of major European clubs. This season, Paz has scored 4 goals and provided 4 assists in just eleven appearances.

Paz has been linked to several European giants, including Tottenham, Liverpool, and Chelsea, but Real Madrid is reportedly keen on re-signing the Argentine.

Spurs had initially tried to sign Paz, but Madrid were adamant on including a buy-back clause in the deal, which threw off the Lilywhites. Chelsea is also in the market for an attacking midfielder, as they continue to monitor Paz among other targets. However, pursuing his signature might prove futile, as both Paz and Real Madrid are eager for his return to the Spanish capital.
