Rio Ngumoha is one of the brightest prospects in world football, but a former Liverpool gem is actually worth more.

A path into the first team for Ngumoha has been earmarked after his prolific start to life at Anfield.

The Liverpool youngster scored a 100th-minute winner against Newcastle United on his Premier League debut back in August and was dubbed ‘frightening’ after the clash.

However, while it’s clear the 17-year-old is destined for big things, another former Reds teenager is actually worth more than him.

CIES Football Observatory has released a list of the most valuable teenagers in world football this week.

FC Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal tops the list, while Chelsea’s Estevao Willian is the most valuable young player in the Premier League (€118.1m).

The Blues, Tottenham and Arsenal all have a number of players included, while two Liverpool teenagers feature.

Giovanni Leoni, who signed from Parma this past summer, is given a value of €25.3m.

Ngumoha is worth a bit less at €20.4m, while the recently departed Ben Gannon-Doak is now valued at €27.2m, which works out at around £23.9m.
