Leeds United fans' favourite Robert Snodgrass believes the club need to sign a striker in the January transfer window to boost their Premier League survival chances.

Snodgrass, who spent four years at Elland Road before leaving for the Premier League, has been speaking about the difficult start to the season made by new recruit Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The ex-Everton striker has just one goal to his name so far this season from nine appearances and hasn't scored since September 20 when Leeds won 3-1 at basement side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Former Leeds, Norwich City, West Ham and Hull City winger Snodgrass believes recruitment holds the key to Leeds making a significant jump into the mid-table bracket of clubs and sees getting a new face to help take the pressure off Calvert-Lewin as key.
