Ipswich are 10th in the Championship after Tuesday's point and are next in action on Saturday when they travel to Swansea City.
The Tractor Boys were without wing-back Leif Davis against Watford because of a hamstring injury and McKenna said it was too soon to say whether he will be able to return in south Wales.
"We'll have to wait and see, there's no clarity on it," he added.
"It's not a very significant injury so he'll definitely be back after the international break. For Saturday, we'll have to see over the next couple of days."
Ben Johnson filled in for his fourth league start of the season, and McKenna was happy with his overall performance.
"He did fine, he delivered some good crosses, some good in-swingers, and was defensively solid as well - he did a good job," McKenna said.
