Liverpool provided a positive update on Mia Enderby, who has returned to training just days after she was taken to the hospital with what was suspected to be a neck injury.

The forward appeared to suffer a neck injury, which required a lengthy stoppage, with 22 minutes added onto the clock during their 2-1 defeat against Tottenham.

Gareth Taylor’s side have suffered some major injury blows in recent weeks, and it was feared that Enderby could be set for an extensive spell on the sidelines.

Liverpool released a statement on Wednesday revealing that Mia Enderby was back in training, just three days after appearing to suffer a nasty injury against Tottenham.

Their statement read: “The Liverpool FC Women striker was stretchered from the field of play after a collision in added time during last Sunday’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture at Tottenham Hotspur.

“Enderby was immediately treated by medical staff before being transferred to a local hospital to undergo scans for head and neck injuries.
