Arsenal duo Leah Williamson and Michelle Agyemang have picked up individual club awards this week following a successful domestic season that led to Champions League glory.
Leah Williamson: Captain fantastic
After such a successful 2024/25 campaign, Leah Williamson has picked up the Golden Player Woman prize.
The award was voted on by panels of European football experts and icons of the past.
Williamson enjoyed a career best year for Arsenal as the Gunners were crowned champions of Europe for a second time.
Arsenal’s captain featured in 19 WSL games last season and proved to be one of the most consistent defenders in England once again.
The 28-year-old then jetted off to Switzerland where once again she captained her team to another major title.
Williamson featured in every game at Euro 2025 as England were crowned champions for a second consecutive tournament.
After such a successful campaign for both club and country, Williamson was named in the FIFPRO World XI before being awarded Tuttosport’s Golden Player Woman.
