Borussia Dortmund have been handed a major boost ahead of their clash against Manchester City. Defender Nick Schlotterbeck is back fit for the German side.

That’s according to BILD, who report that Dortmund have been handed ‘good news’ ahead of the Champions League clash at the Etihad. Schlotterbeck returned to training on the pitch with his teammates today.

The 25-year-old missed the 1-0 win in Augsburg last weekend due to a mild case of the flu. It was unclear if he’d make the game against Manchester City.

But it appears that he will be available. Schlotterbeck joined his teammates for the final training session today. He appeared relaxed, fully fit and was seen joking around with his teammates.

He’s travelling to Manchester with the rest of the squad. And everything indicates that he’ll be I the starting line up for the clash against Manchester City. That’s good news for Dortmund, who had to field a makeshift defence over the weekend.

Fellow defender Niklas Süle is set to miss the game, though. He was not present at training on Tuesday. He is suffering from a swollen toe and only trained individually. The same applies...
