There are 18 Champions League fixtures this midweek.

The fourth round of matches to be played these next two days.

Each of the 36 clubs playing four games at home and four away, in this Swiss League phase.

There are nine Champions League fixtures today (Tuesday 4 November).

Then another nine on Wednesday, including Newcastle v Athletic Bilbao.

In the Swiss League phase, the top eight clubs will automatically go through to the last 16 knockout stages.

Whilst those 16 clubs finishing between 9th and 24th out of the 36 teams, will go into the play-offs to decide the other eight clubs in the last 16.

With six points and a great goal difference of +6, Newcastle United are in a very strong position after the opening three rounds of matches.
