Chelsea star Cole Palmer is continuing his rehabilitation from a groin injury which has stagnated his 2025/26 season. The forward has played just four games for Enzo Maresca's side with the problem occurring twice already this campaign.

Palmer suffered the issue before the 5-1 win over West Ham United in August after being forced to pull out of the starting XI for the London Stadium clash. He missed the victory over Fulham before returning to action after the September international break.

After scoring in the draw with Brentford and the defeat to Bayern Munich, Palmer played just 21 minutes in the 2-1 loss at Manchester United. The 23-year-old has not played since his brief return aggravated the same issue.

Palmer has missed nine matches across all competitions, and last month, Maresca revealed the England international would miss an additional six weeks. "Unfortunately, he needs to be out for probably six more weeks," he said on October 17.
