Trent Alexander-Arnold has given a simple, heartfelt response to returning to Liverpool ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League clash against Real Madrid. The full-back could face the Reds for the first time since his exit tonight (Tuesday).

Speculation over Alexander-Arnold’s future was rife throughout his final season at the club, where he helped the team to the Premier League title. Days after the confirmation of his exit, which came back in May, there were boos as he made his way onto the pitch as a second half substitute against Arsenal.
