Manchester United came away from the City Ground with a 2-2 draw on Saturday afternoon against Nottingham Forest.

Story of the match

After taking the lead with a Casemiro header, United went into the break ahead at half-time.

Nonetheless, United started the second half in horrendous fashion, conceding two goals in the space of five minutes to surrender their advantage.

The Red Devils dug in though and found an equaliser ten minutes from time with a stunning equaliser from Amad.

Controversy

The home side and fans were livid with the officials’ decision to award Man United a corner in the first half which eventually led to Casemiro’s opener.

Nicolo Savona had tried to keep the ball in play but the officials judged he had failed to do so and awarded a corner kick to United.

The rules state that the ball must be entirely out of play to be considered out and video evidence was largely inconclusive if this was the case or not.

Sean Dyche anger

In comments carried by talkSPORT, Dyche lambasted the referee’s decision to award a corner.
