Sunderland needed to come from behind against Everton to earn yet another crucial point in their quest for survival. Their captain, Granit Xhaka was instrumental in turning the tide of the game, scoring the all-important equaliser after Iliman Ndiaye had given the Toffees a deserved lead at the half-time interval.

It wasn't the best display we've seen from the Black Cats this season, but overall, a draw was probably a fair result on the balance of play.
