Mohamed Salah and Steven Gerrard were spotted having a massive hug after the full-time whistle in Liverpool’s game against Aston Villa.

Saturday’s 2-0 win at Anfield was the first time since 20 September that Liverpool have managed to win a Premier League game.

Of course, there have been the odd victories here and there in other competitions, but the fact that they went four games without a top-flight win was massively concerning.

However, they’ve evidently managed to pull through and, as long as they keep their performance levels to this standard, they should get back into the Premier League title race.

It was clear how much Liverpool’s win meant to everyone, with both Salah and Gerrard sharing their excitement with each other at the end of the clash.
