Arsenal continued their strong run of form in the Premier League with their fifth consecutive win in a 2-0 win over Burnley – but there is a double injury blow for Mikel Arteta to contend with.

Goals from summer signing Viktor Gyokeres and midfield maestro Declan Rice saw Arsenal win their fifth game in a row, including their fourth without conceding, as Burnley were put to the sword.

The Gunners are seven points clear of second-placed Bournemouth and are showing no signs of slowing down, with Mikel Arteta’s side aiming to clinch their first Premier League title in over 22 years.

However, Gyokeres left the field of play at half-time despite opening the scoring, and he could be joined by teammate Martin Zubimendi on the treatment table as a double injury blow was given towards the summer signing duo.
