Manchester United went four Premier League games unbeaten for the first time since March as they drew 2-2 at Nottingham Forest on Saturday – but it was an incident away from the City Ground that has seen them dodge a real transfer bullet.

Casemiro put Manchester United in front at the City Ground in a real show of character from the Red Devils to get what would have been their fourth straight win in the Premier League.

However, it’s a feat they haven’t achieved since February 2024, and that run was set to continue with Morgan Gibbs-White and Nicolo Savona turned the game around for Nottingham Forest in two whirlwind minutes.
