Scott Parker believes Arsenal have all the ingredients required to be crowned Premier League champions after watching his Burnley side being put to the sword by the league leaders.

First half goals from Viktor Gyokeres and Declan Rice ensured a relatively straightforward victory for the Gunners who recorded their seventh straight clean sheet in all competitions.

Mikel Arteta’s relentless winning machine eased off after the break in the absence of Gyokeres, who was taken off at the interval with a muscular injury, and Martin Zubimendi who was also subsituted as a precaution.

Even in the absences of Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Noni Madueke, all of whom are likely to be back after the international break, Arsenal still had more than enough in reserve to seal three points that extended the gap at the the top.

‘They’re just a very, very good team,’ conceded Parker in his post match press conference.
