While Nick Woltemade scored again for Newcastle United in Wednesday's 2-0 Carabao Cup fourth round win over Tottenham, things are not going so swimmingly for the man he replaced over at Liverpool.

After spending the entire summer pursuing a move for Alexander Isak, resulting in him going on strike while still contracted at Newcastle, things have not gone to plan so far after his £125million move.

Isak has struggled to reach full fitness and is yet to score for the champions in the Premier League, scoring just one goal in a Carabao Cup win over Southampton.

They have since exited that competition after a 3-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace and Isak remains out injured after suffering a groin injury in their Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
