Ex-Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini reportedly believes he could be in the frame to replace Ruben Amorim in the Manchester United dugout. The Red Devils boss had come under huge pressure earlier this season following a slow start to the campaign, but has since turned his team’s fortunes around after guiding United to three consecutive league wins.

Mancini took over as Manchester City manager in December 2009 and led the Citizens to the FA Cup trophy a year-and-a-half later. City then clinched the Premier League title for the first time in their history under the Italian in 2012 as they pipped the Red Devils to silverware on the final day of the season following a comeback victory over QPR.
