Jeremie Frimpong faces being sidelined until December following a hamstring problem sustained during Liverpool's triumph against Eintracht Frankfurt. The Dutch defender lasted merely 19 minutes against the German side before being withdrawn, and has subsequently missed the Reds' defeats to Brentford and Crystal Palace. Arne Slot acknowledged in Germany that he anticipated the right-back would be 'out now for a few weeks,' before subsequently confirming he faced an extended period on the treatment table.

"Jeremie's not in a good place," Slot confirmed ahead of the Brentford fixture. "What I mean by that he is definitely not going to play today, tomorrow or next week. Hamstring injury so that's going to take a while." The Daily Mail now claims that Frimpong is looking at a six-week absence, with his hamstring problem against Frankfurt marking the second occasion he has sustained such an injury this campaign.

The full-back was withdrawn through injury whilst making his Premier League bow against Bournemouth, though he sat out just two fixtures before returning following the September international window.
