October has been a month to remember, as we moved to the top of the Premier League table, advanced to the League Cup quarter-finals and continued our 100% start in the Champions League.
A busy calendar handed us six matches this month, and we won them all. Three London derbies against West Ham United, Fulham and Crystal Palace were successfully navigated in the league, while Olympiacos and Atletico Madrid were put to the sword in N5 in European competition. We rounded things off by knocking Brighton out of the Carabao Cup as our three-pronged search for silverware continues.
What makes the run all the more impressive is that we’ve also kept six consecutive clean sheets, our best run since 2009, while it is the first time we’ve won ix without conceding since May 2002, the last of which saw us clinch the Premier League title by beating Manchester United at Old Trafford.
