Manchester United have begun talks over a move for Kevin Filling, a 16-year-old striker who has already scored for AIK in the Swedish top flight.

The teenage forward has been capped up to Under-17 level by Sweden and has already been gaining experience in senior football.

Filling had never even been on the bench before in the Swedish top flight when he was handed his debut against IFK Goteborg in June.

He scored in a 3-0 win for AIK and said afterwards: ‘It was a little surreal to come out into the stadium.

‘Of course it was a little nervous, but it’s just a match. I’ve prepared my whole life for this. 40,000, 5,000, 100 people, it doesn’t matter, I always do my best.’
