Rangers travel to Easter Road as they take on Hibs in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday.

Danny Rohl is looking for back-to-back wins following Rangers’ 3-1 win over Kilmarnock on Sunday.

Rohl’s appointment has been warmly received by Gers fans, who are excited to turn over a new leaf following Russell Martin’s disastrous reign.

Fifth-placed Rangers face a Hibs side that has won successive Scottish Premiership games to lift them up to third in the table.

Nick Walsh has been appointed as the referee for Wednesday night’s match, much to the anger of Gers fans and Ally McCoist.

Coincidentally, Walsh officiated Rangers’ clash with Hibs in the Premier Sports Cup earlier this season.

However, Walsh’s unpopularity lies with the decision to send off Mohamed Diomande for a shove on Dundee United player Kevin Holt on 26 January 2025.

Speaking on talkSPORT on 27 January , McCoist said: “It is probably one of the worst decisions I have ever seen in my life – the boy Diomande, it’s a shocking decision. … Oh my goodness, it is the worst decision, it is absolutely unbelievable how the referee thinks it is a red.”
