Derby County Under-18s were beaten 3-1 by Everton in Under-18 Premier League -North at Moor Farm Training Ground.

The defeat saw the Rams’ four-match unbeaten run in all competitions come to an end and leaves Bradley Johnson’s side still looking for their first home league win of the campaign.

Derby took the lead after just 11 minutes at Moor Farm through 16-year-old Kacey Gill’s first goal of the season.

Everton hit back quickly to equalise, however, with Ray Roberts restoring parity only four minutes later.

Kean Wren put Everton ahead of the first time in the game after 69 minutes and he went on to double his tally and net Everton’s third on 76 minutes.

Everton had a chance to go further ahead late on, but Shea Pita failed to convert from 12 yards as goalkeeper Spencer O’Neill saved his spot-kick.
