Dejan Lovren has congratulated Harry Maguire after he netted the winner for Manchester United in their recent Premier League clash against Liverpool.

United added to the Reds’ misery last week with Ruben Amorim’s men managing to beat Liverpool 2-1.

Admittedly, during the first half, the Red Devils more than deserved to win the game but with the performance that the Anfield outfit put in during the second 45, it felt like a draw would have been a fair result.

The fact that Cody Gakpo hit the post three or four times during the game shows how unlucky Arne Slot’s men actually got.

And, even if Maguire put in a good performance and scored the winning goal, it’s still baffling to see Lovren congratulate the Englishman for his performance.

During Lovren’s time with Liverpool, he managed to win the Premier League and even form a close relationship with Mohamed Salah.

Since exiting Anfield, the Croatian has bounced around a few different clubs and he currently plays for Greek outfit PAOK.

Now that he’s 36 years old, it’s evident that his career will be coming to an end soon.
