Alexander Isak may not have had the best start to his Liverpool career, but his time will come.

The Swedish striker joined the Reds for £125 million in the summer, and since his arrival, he has had a rocky start with fitness issues and performances that have not seen him hit the ground running.

To add insult to injury, literally, in Liverpool’s 5-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League on Wednesday, the player went off with a groin problem just before half-time.

This is not what the player, or indeed the fans, were expecting once he joined the club, given Isak’s incredible abilities being on display during his time on Tyneside with Newcastle United.
