Jurgen Klopp has opened up on the loss of Diogo Jota. The Liverpool forward and his brother, Andre Filipe Teixeira da Silva, sadly passed away after a car crash in Spain in July.

Jota, whom the Reds signed from Wolves for £41m in September 2020, enjoyed a great relationship with Klopp. Together at Anfield, they won the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup, as well as reaching the UEFA Champions League final in 2022.

The Portugal international featured 182 times for Liverpool, scoring 65 goals and providing 26 assists. Speaking to the Diary of a CEO podcast, Klopp lifted the lid on how Jota's death has affected him.
