Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the highly-rated attacker Djylian N’Guessan from Saint-Etienne.

As per CaughtOffside, Tottenham have sent scouts to watch the 17-year-old attacker in action recently, and it remains to be seen whether they follow up on their interest with an official proposal.

N’Guessan would be a long-term acquisition for them if they manage to get the deal done. The player is currently developing with regular football in the second division of French football, and the step up to the Premier League could be a massive challenge for him. It is highly likely that he will join up with the Tottenham Academy if he joins the club.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are interested in the player as well. It remains to be seen whether they can beat Tottenham to his signature. The Gunners could use some attacking depth, and they could look to groom N’Guessan as a future backup to Viktor Gyokeres.
