Chelsea are reportedly showing an interest in bringing Diego Moreira back to the club after his impressive form at fellow BlueCo club Strasbourg.

The 21-year-old has shown immense potential with his performances in Ligue 1 so far this season, contributing one goal and two assists so far.

That goal and one of those assists came against Paris Saint-Germain, with Moreira causing the reigning European champions plenty of problems with his intelligent play.

According to TBR Football, Chelsea could have the option to trigger a low-cost buy-back clause for Moreira.

The west London giants initially sold the young Belgian, who can play left-back or midfield, for just £1.7m, and it’s felt that his buy-back clause won’t be much higher than that, according to the report.
